Forum Post Report
Thank you for being a thoughtful team member and using this form to bring the online engagement team’s attention to a post that may require review. Here are a few things to keep in mind with this form:
- There’s no pressure here to be right. If you feel like it’s worth a look, that’s good enough. Don’t worry about being “wrong.” Just because you report something doesn’t mean it’s a violation of our guidelines and will be removed. It means that we will look at the post and make the appropriate determination.
- If this is a true emergency, please don’t use this form. Please post a message in the #forums Slack channel and then contact Patrick O’Keefe, Hannah Johnson, Marie Coller, and Tosin Abari on Slack immediately, day or night.
- As per the Forums Guide for Other Teams, we define a true emergency as any post that expresses depression or provides an indication that the poster might perform an act of self-harm. In addition, if a member says they will go out of business if they don’t receive help soon, we would like to be urgently notified about that.
- Once you report the post, please forget that it exists. No need to devote any additional time or stress to it or to follow up with us separately. We will review your report and take the appropriate steps as soon as possible.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to let us know, either directly or through the #forums channel on Slack. Thanks again.
